Renee Shepherd

Renee comes to Trapezium after twenty years as a litigation attorney. She clerked in the New 

Jersey Superior Court’s Mass Tort Court, which was at that time, the State’s only specialized Mass Tort Court. She spent her time as a litigator with Pennsylvania’s largest defense firm before practicing on Wall Street in New York City with one of the largest plaintiff’s firms in the country. She spent her last years as an attorney with a small boutique firm specializing in alternative dispute resolution. There, she also gave continuing legal education lectures to attorneys on how to conduct aggregate settlements.

Before attending law school Renee had a five year stint as a sales professional in both the broadcast industry and the pharmaceutical industry.

Renee originally joined forces with Trapezium to assist the company in its foray into school sales with “Trapezium for Schools” until the pandemic caused a temporary shut down in that division of the company.

Despite coming onboard only recently, Renee has a long history with Trapezium. Two of her children began their math journey with Trapezium. Both went on advanced math classes in high school including AP Calculus. One daughter now attends Amherst College ‘23, the other will attend the University of Chicago beginning the Fall 2021.

In her spare time Renee competes in Master’s Track and Field. She was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2016, having broken eight American and two World Sprint records.
